PROGRAMS

At Curious Makers, our teaching approach is guided by one core belief:

Kids learn best by doing.

We design our programmes around project-based learning—because seeing an idea come to life is the most powerful way to build confidence, creativity, and real-world skills. Instead of just memorizing facts or following step-by-step instructions.

Our philosophy is to meet each child at their level and inspire them to grow, at their own pace, through progressive challenges, interest driven learning and providing mentorship and guidance.

  • What Will My Child Learn?
Your child will learn: Coding: Programming in Arduino C++. Electronics & Hardware: Understanding circuits, sensors, and microcontrollers. Hands-on Building: Creating smart home devices, robots, and automation projects. Problem-Solving & Creativity: Learning how to think critically and bring ideas to life. Confidence in Technology: Developing skills that prepare them for future STEM careers.
  • Is This Programme Right for My Child?
Suitable for kids aged 10-18. No prior coding experience needed – we start from the basics. Perfect for kids who enjoy tinkering, exploring, and building real projects. Small class sizes ensure personalized guidance and mentorship. We focus on both structured learning and creative freedom, so students stay engaged.
  • What Kind of Projects Will They Work On?
Kids will build but not limited to: Smart Home Automation – Controlling lights and devices with code. Interactive Night Lamps – Customizing sensors and LED patterns. Wheeled Robots – Coding robots to move and respond to commands. Students apply what they learn in hands-on projects rather than just writing code. They keep their projects & continue improving them beyond class.
  • What Makes This Programme Different?
Structured Learning with Room for Creativity We provide a clear learning path that helps students build a strong foundation in coding and electronics while also encouraging them to explore their own ideas and projects. This balance ensures they gain both technical skills and creative confidence. Confidence & Problem-Solving Focus Our programme is designed to help kids believe in their ability to create. We don’t just teach kids to code we guide students to problem-solve, experiment, and create with confidence.
  • How Are the Classes Structured?
Format: In-person. Duration: Classes typically run 2.5 hours per session. Schedule: Available on weekends, weekdays and during school holidays. Class Size: Small group classes to ensure personalized attention. Learning Style: Mix of structured lessons, guided projects, and creative challenges.
  • What Are the Costs & Commitments?
Pricing: $620 / 4 Sessions. Trial Classes Available – Try a session before committing.
  • What Results Can I Expect?
By the end of a course, your child will: Be able to code in Arduino C++, understand real programming concepts. Grasp how electronics and microcontrollers work, learn to wire circuits, control sensors, and learn to troubleshoot. Build and complete working prototypes, they’ll bring home real projects that are functional. Think like a problem-solver. Approach challenges with resilience, logic, and creativity. Grow in confidence and independence. Have opportunities to join competitions.
